Swaney Elementary is located at 501 E. English in Derby.
Our building serves Early Childhood-5th Grade and includes a Life Skills Program.
School hours are 9:00AM-3:20PM Monday and 8:00AM-3:20PM Tuesday through Friday.
Doors open at 8:40AM Monday and 7:40AM Tuesday through Friday.
For students eating breakfast at school, it will be served after doors open.

Join us for Swaney's Family Game Night! Friday, April 26th, 6-8 PM. Please come through the cafeteria doors. There will be games, food trucks, and door prizes. It is a great opportunity to have fun with family and friends! There is no entry fee, but donations will be accepted.

Pint-Size Hero Blood Drive Thursday April 25th
Swaney is once again participating in the Pint-Size Hero Program. The program teaches children about blood donation, blood components and how blood is used as medicine. The blood drive will be held on Thursday, April 25th from 1:30 PM to 7 PM. Each student who recruits someone to donate will be recognized as a Pint-Size Hero and will receive an American Red Cross medal. The best part is knowing they helped save lives!
